KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports – 12/11

I’d say Glenn Rowe is having a great day at work….. beautiful conditions to groom and a beautiful “co-pilot”. Cathy Rowe is able to join him today on his route!

To be honest I dream of days like this! Does anyone else have the desire to move UP north and help maintain trails for a club, all while having a spouse be able to join you? …….. ok, well I’m sure SOME might prefer their “alone” time…. 😂

Huge thank you to Glenn, Cathy and ALL the other groomers for making such beautiful trails out of ALL this SN❄️W that has fallen! Most areas are approaching 100 inches of total SN❄️W for the season so far, if they haven’t reached it already!

LAKE GOGEBIC AREA UPDATE via Gogebic Area Grooming – 12/14

Trail # 1 Update (Ethelwood Project)

Gogebic Area Grooming can not thank the volunteers enough for making it possible to clear Trail # 1. They worked hard for 2 days brushing and signing to get this opened up. We have enough snow this early in the season to make snow bridges to get across the wet and washed out areas. We are working hard with private Land Associations to get this trail open by Christmas! Here our some pictures of how bad it was. Also a Thanks to Brian with the Gogebic Lodge to help take charge on getting this accomplished.
