TRAIL REPORT – Monday 02-03-2020
WARM WEATHER – SOFT TRAILS – MACHINE DOWN

Overall trail conditions are good. It was a warm day with light rain at times so trails became really soft and grooming was put on hold for Sunday. The base is still hard and flat so very minimal chop developing through the day. Major break down with the Pisten Bully on Trail417 so the Deere will be working overtime for awhile to help cover. We will continue to groom and do our best to at least keep the chop to a minimum. Keep the cold weather snow dancing going, Enjoy the Trails and Ride Safe! MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails – 2/2

More grooming last night, but we all know it wouldn’t help with the weather today. Warm and rainy day today has put a beating on the junk snow we were working with. Only saving grace will be cold temps through the week will help the trail set back to hard pack. Going to take a couple days to get the whoops cut and refrozen. Still need new snow…. Be careful as corners are washed out, road crossings are super soft and blown out into the road from over eager throttle flappers, and bridge crossings and gates are all washboard. Also added are examples from some of our areas where we apparently let the illiterate snowmobilers ride… Seriously…. We don’t like digging holes for signs. Expecially in ACCURATELY NAMED Rock River Township. We didn’t put these up because we thought it was "FUN"…

SENEY AREA UPDATE via Seney Snowmobile Association – 2/2

With the warm up and rain, we will not be sending the groomers out tonight. We did groom the trails today and trails turned out in good shape. Temps are going to drop this week and we will be back out at it….

Groomers went out last night, the trails where in bad shape, but we did get them groomed out a little. The groomers will be going out again today to work on them some more. Trails are still in good shape.

We groomed trails last night and the groomers are going out today. It’s currently snowing in Seney, let’s hope it keeps snowing and NO rain.
