Simply the best riding of the season. Riders in yesterday all reporting great trails. I rode with my brother and Timmy T down to Higgins Lake for dinner last night at the Silver Dollar. Yummy spaghetti. Rode out around Hanson HIlls and down to HIggins and then on the way back thru grayling along the highway which I havent ridden in years.

All good till behind the grocery store by the golf course but then great north of 72 again and back to my house. Woke up this morning and took the long route back to frederic and around the 679 loop. A little fresh powder overnight and didnt pass any sleds on still perfect trails….wow its not to often I get to say that. I wish I could stay out riding all day but darn I have to work. Its sunny and 23 right now. Should be a comfy weekend for riding.

The Darkside Adventures ride is just starting up and thats an annual ride for about ten days thru the wild bush of Quebec of about 2000 miles. They are about a month later this year. PARADISE AREA UPDATE via Paradise Area Night Riders www.paradiseareanightriders.org​ – 2/20

8 degrees this morning with a real fine snow in the air. We have picked up over a foot of snow in the last couple of days….YEA!!!!!!!!!!!! Here`s a full run down of our trail system for this weekend…….

Groomer Dave M. ran the south trail #8 yesterday and rated it at very good. The swamp south of town is even rated at good now. He is runnin the trail again today and figures it will go up to EXCELLENT!!

Groomer Zach ran the Falls trail #45 last night and rated that at EXCELLENT!!

Groomer Kevin ran the Point trails #452 and #453 and rated them at very good. He said one more run on them and they will go to EXCELLENT!!

The Pine Stump trail #8 didn`t get run yesterday but will get run today. It too is rated at very good with heavy drifting in "siberia". I`m sure after today it will go up to EXCELLENT!!

Soooo….as you can see….I can FINALLY use my favorite word for the trails. We are a very picky bunch so it takes a lot to call them EXCELLENT. The forecasters are saying its supposed to warm up into the 30`s this weekend during the day but dip into the 20`s at night. With the lows in the 20`s I`m thinking it won`t hurt the trails any. It`s gonna be a PERFECT weekend to come UP and ride!!!!!!

COME ON UP!!!!!!!!!!!!
