KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports – 02/01
Shawn James and crew spent the last 4 days in the Keweenaw and even though the trip started out with a sled problem, they were able to get it resolved and back to enjoying their trip! Shawn shared this group photo and these words….
“Just wanted to express my gratitude for the helpful individuals that make trips to Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula so great. After a long ride trailering machines to our destination near Copper Harbor, I experienced some secondary clutch issues within the first 8 miles of our ride Thursday night. Friday morning Houghton Powersports referred me over to Neil at Keweenaw Motorsports
in Calumet. Neil happened to have a spare clutch and jack shaft for me. The price was more than fair and got me back on the trail for the rest of the weekend! Our group of nine guys sure appreciated the great trails and hospitality and enjoyed patronizing the few establishments that we could! Can’t wait to go back!”
We are SO glad your trip was great for you! Thank you for all of the kind words towards local establishments and people! Hope you make it back up soon!
