Snow, snow, snow. Well I know I probably don’t need to do a trail report because most folks are still digging themselves out from the last storm. Yes we do have great conditions this weekend. We got approx 8′ from the last storm and have cold temeratures. The weekend looks like having 28-30 deg which will mean awesome riding for super bowl weekend. Once the roads are cleared, take a trip up north, trails are expected to be a little quieter this weekend. For those that want to get away and won’t be glued to the TV watching Super Bowl it will be a great weekend to escape the city and hit the trails!

Greetings Sledders,
Quick update, I’ve been in the seat for 8 hours today and I’m on the tuckered out side of things. It was real nice to see a white snow ribbon flowing from the back of the drag all day long and it’s certainly about time.
We got 6-8" out of the storm and the trails are the best that we’ve seen this season. I’m going to give them a B to B plus and that rating does not take weekend traffic into consideration. In other words don’t take a ride at three in the afternoon on Saturday and call me a fibber. Weekend traffic is weekend traffic and there’s nothing that we can do but to go in the afternoon and evening hours both days.
I would say that now is the time to pull the trigger especially if you’re able to get out next week which is what yours truly is planning to do if my lifelong friend Robin can get his sled running or if my other pal (friendless Bob) can make it up and we will be off trailing in fresh powder all day with the occasional sidebar to Lovells for food and gas. Hopefully we’ll get an air show as a bonus.
Temps look to flirt with the freezing mark over the weekend and that’s a good thing and it looks like some freshening up type snows are in our near future.
Ride Often and Please Be Safe,
Keith, Sandy and The Girls
