The snowmobile trails from TwinLakes to CopperHarbor are open, and groomers are out working on them. Trails are reported to be in good to very good condition except for the High Rock trail which is in fair condition due to low snow.
Remember to watch out for the groomers when you’re out on the trails…….they have the right of way!!
There is logging on a short portion of Trail 133 between Gay and Lac La Belle.
The Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau asks that you stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, please, drive safely. The signs on the snowmobile trails are there for the riders’ safety. Please, DO NOT remove or destroy these signs.

Snow Accumulation: 13 inches
We’ve got snow!!!!! Was delighted to find a blocked driveway when we returned from vacation and the snow gauge was up to pre-Christmas levels. The new snow is pure fluff so it isn’t forming a firm base as we would like. The important thing is there is plenty of snow for an awesome ride. All three groomers are out every day making two different routes each day. And, the experimental snow processor is back on the John Deere 6430 so watch for it on Trails 37 and 379. For more information on the snow processor, check out the "What’s Happening" page of our web page.
