Let’s hope Santa brought you everything else you wanted for Christmas, because he didn’t deliver on the big snow! Christmas Eve only brought light drizzle and some windy conditions early Christmas morning.
The temps stayed around 35 and the day was quiet and grey. It was quite a disappointment in the weather department! Conditions don’t look much different today.
By Sunday, we will have our hopes up again because the forecast is for much colder air and hopefully a little snow.
Enjoy your holiday weekend and check back in a couple days–maybe we will have some good weather news to report!

Merry Christmas–Sadly, we received only 1-2 inches of snow last night leaving us with poor snowmobiling conditons for the week between Chrismas and New Years. There doesn’t seem to be any snow forecasted for the next few days either. What a change from last year. We’re all pretty anxious for snow around here so let’s hope natures snow machine starts working in our favor SOON! We will be sure to let you know when the situation changes.
If you haven’t already purchased your trail permit, now is a good time to do it. Trail permit dollars help keep the groomers running and the trails brushed and signed.
PLEASE REMEMBER we have been asked by the State Park folks to stay off the White Pine Trail until there is at least four inches of snow on it…Let’s all respect this request. Thanks!

We’ve been working hard all summer brushing and signing the trails and doing equipment maintenance on our five tractors, drags and brushing equipment. Some of our buildings needed maintenance and sprucing up as well.
We’re excited about having a new Dubie drag on order. Should be here in time for some serious grooming this winter. We’ll be using it on the 7920 in the mid-region of our trail system.
Be sure to check out our website at cadillacwinterpromotions.org to learn more about our organization and trail system.
