Gaylord Area Trail Report – Ray’s Retreat Country Inn – 02/25

Good Monday Morning….. Saturday was a beautiful day to be outside enjoying the trails. We had snow all day. Trail conditions were fair to great. Alot of riders again this weekend. Yesterday’s riders reported good rides.

We had a small group from Alabama who are heading south today. They said Gaylord and surround trails were well worth their drive up here. They rode 200 miles yesterday.

The ‘worst’ area was over around Starvation Lake. It was standing room only at the bar/restaurant. Sleds parked everywhere.

Sunshine and 30 degrees softened the snow yesterday. Today its supposed to be partly cloudy/sunny. Temp in 30’s.

Indian River Trail Report – 02/25

Good morning! Lisa has asked me to fill-in for her today. This is Leah reporting. Trails are looking good. There is a very nice base. Even with relatively warmer temps threatening to melt things down, I am not worried. We have so much snow it’s going to take a lot to put a dent in it. Today’s forecast is calm winds, overcast and warming into the low 30’s. It looks like a fantastic day for riding!

Base: 4 inches

Snowfall Past 24 hours: 0 inches

Last Grooming: 2-21-13, Thursday night

Current Trail Conditions: Excellent
