19 degrees this morning and cloudy. Supposed to just get into the 20`s today too…..nice. We didn`t get anything out of that storm, hope ya`ll are enjoying it down der.

Here`s the trail report as promised from yesterday.

Groomer Mike went into our infamous swamp south of town. It is still solid, great news, he said he would call it fair and the rest of the trail good.

I talked to all the other groomers who ran last night and they all called the trails they ran good.

All the plowed roads are bare, so depending on where you are staying you might have to trailer to a trail head, but thats really no big deal.

We have a huge parking lot just west of town. So thats about all I got for ya…..need anything more? Come on UP!

Trails are holding their own. Well, we should say the groomers are helping the trails to hold their own. Thank you groomers for your hard work and dedication.

Yesterday afternoon highs reached above freezing which softened the trails, but temps dropped again last evening. Riders are still giving the "thumbs up" and rating trails as "overall good."

We have 21" on our snow gauge. More as you head north and west. Because of the warm up, the pavement has been bare (until today). We are getting beautiful lake effect right now and we hope this accumulates throughout the day. Our local dirt road and driveway remain snow covered. The alley in Newberry was mostly snow covered, but rough.

Kuddos to the groomers! They took poor conditions and have worked hard to improve them, without much to work with. It sounds like all trails are being groomed and are in mostly good condition, some great, some fair. We have 21" on the ground at our location.
