Unfortunately in the last 24-36 hours we have lost a drastic amount of snow! As of 10 am on 03/07/2017 we have decided to close our trails due to deteriorating trail conditions and safety of our riders.

It will take a SIGNIFICANT snowfall to get trails back in rideable condition and some in ‘passable’ condition and it just isn’t in the forecast.

OK, second attempt to put out a report. Power went out on the first and I lost it all. Now on generator power. It was 41 degrees this morning when I got up at 7:30. It is now 10:30 and 45 and the sun is coming out and very windy. Had a thunder storm roll through last night and it rained pretty hard….dis is not good!! Surprised when I got up how much snow we lost last night. We are down to about a foot and a half on the ground now.

Did talk to da boss this morning and we have Groomer Loren runnin to Pine Stump today. Decided to hold off on the other trails till it cools down. It is supposed to cool down by the way. ‘They’ are saying highs in the 20`s and lows in the single digits through the weekend and an inch here an there. Don`t know what to tell ya`s about this weekend coming UP. I guess just keep checking back and I`ll keep ya informed.

Oh, one thing I did want to mention. With this strong wind, keep an eye out for fallen trees on the trails. All fer today. Groomer Chris
