Good news, we got about four inches of snow on Christmas day, groomers have been out and report that the trails are rideable. We have an icy base with lake effect on top so watch the corners. Come on up and ride, make the most of the season we have.

To better access the forest trails, you’ll want to use one of the Staging Areas below:

33 Rd Staging Area–S of M-55–approx.. 3 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)

Caberfae Staging Area–approx.. 12 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)

Boon Staging Area–park in plowed area south of Boon Grocery

Note: The porta-a-johns were removed from our staging areas today as our contracts on them expired 3-15-13.

UPDATE: December 28, 2017

No change we are still waiting for enough snow to groom here.
Due to not enough snow yet, lots of water and our rocky conditions our trails have not been groomed yet! But it is improving every day! And it is snowing today!
