Paradise Area Trail Report – 02/28
February 28, 2023
20 degrees this morning and cloudy. We picked up close to 6" between yesterday and last night. It looks like we will get a bit more tonight but temps will be on the warmer side…..low 30`s for highs during the day….but we should be OK.
All operators are telling me all trails are in great shape. We will keep them that way and groom everyday till we run outa snow! I`m heading out the door shortly and grooming the South trail but just thought I would jump on here real quick and give ya`ll an update.
Come on UP while you can. Lord knows how long this will last.

Temperatures will start out cold with wind chills below -20F in the far eastern U.P. Frostbite can occur in as little as 30 minutes on exposed skin in these conditions. 9 degrees this morning and snowing. I picked up 5-6" of fresh snow on my deck from last night and it looks like its supposed to snow for the next couple of days too!!!
Our entire system was groomed yesterday and there`s only one way to describe it......EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, those of you who follow me know I don`t use that word very often, but I ain`t kiddin, it doesn`t get any better than this. The swamp south of town, the Falls trail, ALL of our low land trails are better than I`ve seen in a long time!!!!!
If you don`t have plans on gettin U.P. here.....make `em. It won`t last forever.
Thats all I have to report.....one word.....EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
