Munising Area Trail Report – 02/08
TRAIL REPORT, Wednesday, February 8, 2023 7:30 a.m. SUNNY DAY OF WARM RIDING CONDITIONS! Overall Trails were grooming out nice last night and in Very Good condition. We have a warm spell passing through again today. Get out and enjoy some great mid-season riding conditions. We do have a few trouble spots with one being the Trail 419 creek crossing between Munising and Wetmore. Water Hazards on Trail 418 are gone now but there is still a depression at the West hole location (marked with stop and stop ahead signs). Keep a close eye on trail conditions as you ride and stay right. Stay tuned for updates! Conditions remain great with a warmup coming. Expecting the trail to hold well, but will get rough as the snow gets wet. We will be watching conditions and grooming accordingly. We should be able to continue grooming, but if conditions are not cool enough at night, we may have to park the groomer. Our operators know the trail well and will be making the call if needed. Rest assured, they will get it back to great as fast as they can. These guys always do great work!
