HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 02/06 ❗️Trail Update❗️ We will have all three groomers out tonight to get everything flat before the warm up & rain we are expected to get this week. <> <> WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan>> Lake effect snow spread across northern Michigan tonight through Thursday night. While most areas can expect only an inch or less of accumulations… areas southwest of Grand Traverse Bay will observe 3-5” with locally higher amounts of 8”+. This weather is really going to take a toll on the trails but its supposed to start cooling back down on Thursday & even looks like we might be getting some snow on Thursday & Friday🤞Postings From Regional Pages On Facebook
We had two groomers out last night, the railroad grade (trail 7) was groomed from Van road to Alanson, and all the trails on the East side of the Harbor Barn (717, 71, & 711) were all groomed.
Overall everything is in good shape, the trails were a bit icy yesterday but the added snow should help cover that up. There were a few open water holes behind the Pellston airport last night, temperatures are currently around 19 degrees so hoping those freeze back up quickly.
It’s a great day to get out and ride, stop by one of our sponsors for some lunch or dinner.
