Paradise Area Trail Report – 02/06
February 6, 2023 19 degrees this morning and cloudy. We`ve picked up an inch of snow here an there over the last few days. Sorry I haven`t given ya`ll an update since the 1st, I didn`t realize its been that long! I`ve been very busy now that the weather has cooperated. Thats all I have for today. Keep checking back and I`ll keep you up to date on the weather situation. Remember…..RIDE RIGHT……RIDE SAFE…..You are not the only one on the trail. ALSO, watch out for groomers. We have been hit a couple times this year. We run during the day and night!!!! There really isn`t anything new to report. The weather has been fantastic and so has the trails!! We are runnin the machines full time and they are runnin great! Every trail is in great shape. Or little comic groomer, Mike H., even came up with a new term for how good the trails are but I told him I still can`t print that.
I`m sure you`ve all seen the weather forecast for the next few days, it doesn`t look too promising with temps approaching the 40`s but the bright side is it looks like they will drop off at night into the 20`s and "they" called off the rain part. The trails might take a beating if the sun comes out cause the snow pack is unusually low but we`ll just have to wait and see. 11 degrees this morning under partly cloudy skies. I got about 2" of fresh snow on my deck from last night. Nothing new to report on the trails except the loggers are done out by Pine Stump now, we`ll whip that in shape today and all will be good in sno-mo country! Our entire system will be groomed today, all trails are in GREAT SHAPE!!!!
My biggest question is....where is everybody? Its been slow all season U.P. here.....even on the weekends. Ya`ll are missing out. COME ON U.P.!!!!! Quick report as I`m heading out the door to go grooming.

9:56 Second stop sign, 10.5 today.
Workin her pretty hard to get what you want, but we are.
She likes 7MPH tonight, should give an indication why we're Not much into stopping for oncoming traffic.
No obstacles for awhile now 😊

Minus 5 degrees this morning under a cloudy sky. No new snow in the last 24 hrs. but we do have about 3 feet of snow on the ground so no worries...LOL. Here`s whats been happening since my last report a couple days ago......
No bad news...the machines have been running beautifully....Mother Nature has been cooperating perfectly....and our trails are EXCELLENT!!!!
The Falls trail #45, the Point trails #452 & #453 and the South trail #8 all fall into that catagory. The only blip on the radar is on the Pine Stump trails #8 & #9 but it is only minor. Our section of trail #9 is still being plowed down from the Stump to the East branch of the Two Heart by the loggers. It is no big deal, just take trail #8 around instead of #9, just like the old days. Its a touch longer but you`re out there to enjoy the ride.....right? On the bright side, they are done up by Crisp Point but it will take us a couple trips to get that back in great shape.
Where is everybody?? Its been awful slow around here. COME ON U.P., You are missing out!!
