Sidnaw / Bruce Crossing Trail Report – 01/29
Groomer Report: With help from our friends in the Keweenaw, we have a second groomer and are back to running normal. Tickets are being issued by Law Enforcement officers for not stopping at STOP signs. We groom every day that the weather conditions and equipment allows. There may be unforeseen circumstances that prevent us from going out, like a major blizzard and being snowed in at our homes or equipment breakdowns. There is log hauling just north of Sidnaw for a few miles, trail 8/15. Blizzard Warnings have moved South to include Leelanau, Emmet, Cheboygan, Southeastn Chippewa, Mackinac Island/Bois Blanc, Beaver Island. Ice Storm Warnings have moved South to include Wexford, Missaukee, Oscoda, Alcona and Alpena Counties. Winter Weather Advisories now include Clare, Osceola Counties.
The warm line is farther South keeping higher totals North. Winds continue to pick up along with the snow tonight.
