24 degrees this morning and cloudy. No new snow in the last couple of days and I don`t see much coming in the forecast for the next few days either….bummer…..we could use some for sure. I`m heading out the door to go grooming so here`s a quick update…..
Groomer Mike C. ran the Pine Stump trail #8 yesterday and called it good. There still is a few thin spots but its looking better every day. He`s gonna run it again today.
Groomer Mike H. ran the Point trails #452 & #453 yesterday also and said the same. We are gonna hit those trails again today. I am heading south on trail #8 this morning. I will skip the swamp again but we are planning a recon trip thru there for Tuesday.
Groomer Kevin is gonna run the Falls trail #45 today also.
So……there ya have it. We are busting our butts to get all trails in great shape….just for you! Sure could use some more snow tho so do your best snow dances!
Remember……Ride Right…..Ride Safe, so you can come back and do it all over again!!!!!
LET `ER SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Groomer Chris

We had 305 total riders, including 95 Veterans, join us for a day filled with camaraderie, gratitude, and great trail riding. A very special thank you to the Newberry Post Honor Guard for helping us honor our Veterans in such a meaningful and respectful way. WEATHER UPDATE via Michigan Storm Chasers >> Lake effect flurries and snow showers are possible today, March 1st, 2026 across some of northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. With dry air mixing in, totals will be relatively kept in check, but a swath of 1-3", perhaps 4" is possible along M-28 south of Grand Marais. Changing wind fields will also allow for light/brief accumulations along some of our lakeshore regions in the Lower Peninsula, but it's not guaranteed for everyone. Timing is through the remainder of the day. Mild temperatures coming later this week, which should help begin the melting process for many. #miweather #keweenaw#munising #newberry #sooLake effect flurries and snow showers are possible today, March 1st, 2026 across some of northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula.
