Newberry Trail Report – 01/18
Trail 9: We groomed out to school bus corner Sunday and will be heading out this after noon to go all the way past pine stump. Logging on County Rd 415 toward McMillan. Fair to poor in spots! Trail 498: Groomed sunday and will do so again today. Trail 45: The gate is open to the Falls. We groomed out to the Falls Sunday night. There is logging on the trail shortly after you jump on Trail 45 just past the Logging museum off of M-123. There is also be logging about 3 miles North of Skyline Road off to the right. Please use extreme caution in these areas! Both portions are being plowed and could be bumpy or rutted. Good to Fair in spots!! Trial 9/2: We groomed down to Epouffette Sunday. Fair. 9 degrees this morning and snowing. I picked up 5-6" of fresh snow on my deck from last night and it looks like its supposed to snow for the next couple of days too!!!
Our entire system was groomed yesterday and there`s only one way to describe it......EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, those of you who follow me know I don`t use that word very often, but I ain`t kiddin, it doesn`t get any better than this. The swamp south of town, the Falls trail, ALL of our low land trails are better than I`ve seen in a long time!!!!!
If you don`t have plans on gettin U.P. here.....make `em. It won`t last forever.
