Paradise Area Trail Report – 01/17
January 17, 2023 Mannnn…….it was 35 degrees all day yesterday and it rained some, stayed 35 all night last night with some drizzle and its still at 35 today…….Mannnnn. This weather SUCKS!!!! On the bright side, it looks like it will cool off come Thursday and maybe snow some too. The wind did finally switch to the NW. I ran the town trail this morning with a groomer just to take the bumps out before they freeze in but everything out on the trails is mush and mud. The groomers will remain parked now until we get some snow and it cools off a bunch. Sorry for the bad news. I sure wish I could control the weather, but there ain`t nuttin you can do. Just thought I would jump on here for a sec. I`m gettin a lot of calls asking about this coming weekend and all I got to say is…….dudes…..how the heck should I know……you watchin the weather just like me!!!! 9 degrees this morning and snowing. I picked up 5-6" of fresh snow on my deck from last night and it looks like its supposed to snow for the next couple of days too!!!
Our entire system was groomed yesterday and there`s only one way to describe it......EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, those of you who follow me know I don`t use that word very often, but I ain`t kiddin, it doesn`t get any better than this. The swamp south of town, the Falls trail, ALL of our low land trails are better than I`ve seen in a long time!!!!!
If you don`t have plans on gettin U.P. here.....make `em. It won`t last forever.
