Sidnaw / Bruce Crossing Trail Report – 01/15
Groomer Report: We are alternating days grooming our trails with one of our groomers out of service for a few weeks at least. We will groom west from Trout Creek one day and the next day we will go east. There is log hauling just north of Sidnaw for a few miles, it is signed. Trails 8/15 and the south end of trail 174. Be cautious of logging trucks and equipment in the area. The logging on the north end of trail 174 has started, use CAUTION in this area! Blizzard Warnings have moved South to include Leelanau, Emmet, Cheboygan, Southeastn Chippewa, Mackinac Island/Bois Blanc, Beaver Island. Ice Storm Warnings have moved South to include Wexford, Missaukee, Oscoda, Alcona and Alpena Counties. Winter Weather Advisories now include Clare, Osceola Counties.
The warm line is farther South keeping higher totals North. Winds continue to pick up along with the snow tonight.
