KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Snowmobile Club – 01/12 Unfortunately, the snow and cold haven’t come to the Copper Country. Several areas reported rain (yes, RAIN 🌧️) in our area Wednesday and temperatures haven’t been favorable. If we are to believe the forecast things are going to get ROUGH for us by Monday. We will be reducing grooming as we have started pulling up rocks and damaging equipment. Things are getting thin across most of our system. At this point being transparent is the best we can do, we need snow and cold to get this season going! When approaching a groomer try to pull off to the side as far as you or ride as far off to the side as safe as you can.
