SAULT STE. MARIE UPDATE via Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association – 01/10 Good evening! Groomers Rick and Pat went out & did the Kinross east loop tonight, 472, 49 south of M80, and 494. Looking nice and flat! Earlier, groomer Dave did kinross west to Spile Dam- 472 and 480. He skipped the small section where the 2 water holes are just east of 480 on 472 to try and help them freeze up. I circled the area on the map to give your an idea on location. 889 is in excellent shape and didn’t need to be touched today👍🏼 Hoping the forecasted freezing rain turns to all snow! Trail 8 from the Soo to Brimley, and also Brimley to Raco, 480 to the Spile Dam turnaround, and the Raco powerline to Ranger Road as well as the Sault Ste Marie city trails were all done today as well.
