To say it was a great weekend in the Keweenaw would be an understatement! Trails were amazing and as much as we would prefer dark gray skies with lake effect snow blowing in, the blue sky and sunshine made riding spectacular! Johnny Sengmany and crew were just one of many groups commenting on what an amazing weekend they had! Johnny shared these photos and said, “Great weekend in the Keewenaw! Stayed in South Range(Yellow Door 30). North to Brockway on Friday and down to Bond Falls on Saturday. About 350 miles for the weeeknd!” So glad you all had a great trip! We've been busy setting up everything for tomorrow's Backcountry Village big event. Gates will open around 9am, ride out at 2pm, and the the freestyle show at 4pm. Come visit the Western UP Trail Reports booth just to the left of the stage.

Looks like Saturday is going to be the nicest day in the past 2 weeks, 20° and partly cloudy. So if you're coming up this weekend the trails are in very good shape and warmer temps.
