NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via TASA – 12/22 December 22, 2022 10:30am Merry Christmas! The snow machine has certainly kicked in! As we kick off the 2022/2023 snowmobile season there is a few things you should know. We currently are packing down the trails and the finer details are below. The forecast is all over the place currently with some predicting 10-20" and others saying up to 10". Currently there is a foot or better on the ground and some places even more. In other news we are raffling off a a 2023 Polaris Sportsman 450 Donated by Renze Power Sports. Curfew in the Village of Newberry is 11:00pm to 7:00am.
Trail 9: Panned down the trail yesterday and will do so again today out to Holland Lake.
Trail 45: Panned down out to County Road 500, but did not open the gate across the marsh to the Falls yet. There will be logging on the trail shortly after you jump on Trail 45 just past the Logging museum off of M-123. There will also be logging about 3 miles North of Skyline Road off to the right. Equipment has been staged in both areas for the logging to start. Please use extreme caution in these areas! Both portions will be plowed.
Trial 9/2: Panned around town last night, down to Rexton and over to H40. We did not go to Trout Lake because of the marsh.
We will take the weekend off and go back out on Monday.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support this amazing event. We had 305 total riders, including 95 Veterans, join us for a day filled with camaraderie, gratitude, and great trail riding.
A very special thank you to the Newberry Post Honor Guard for helping us honor our Veterans in such a meaningful and respectful way. Your presence added so much to the day and reminded us all why this event is so important.
We are so grateful to our volunteers, ride guides, groomer operators, sponsors, and everyone who helped make this day possible. Seeing all the snowmoilers come together to support and celebrate our Veterans is what this ride is all about.
We are incredibly proud to host this event each year and can never thank our Veterans enough for their service and sacrifice.
