Grand Marais Trail Report – 03/27
GRAND MARAIS UPDATE – 3/27 From Phil-Sunday ran 8 East to the pine stump trail parking lot. With the fresh snow overnight it turned out a lot nicer today. <> <> Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc. on Facebook >>>> <> Michigan Snowmobile Trail Report Friday December 1st, 2023 - 3:25 pm NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via TASA Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association >> Happy Opening Day everyone. We do have snow in the area. Reports are about 10 inches. The last couple of days temps have been just above freezing but that will help set up a good base. Trails are still under restricted use as we enter mussel loading season. December 15th is when all restrictions in the area are lifted. The gates at the trail head are going to remain closed until we get some more snow. That section of trail goes through some wet land that hasn't yet froze over. The same for the gates on trial 45. If you want to come up and give it a go we would suggest trailering a bit north of town to either the Silvercreek trail head, Pine Stump, or the trail head north of that. Please go slow and watch for hazards on the trail. Ride Safe and Ride Right #newberryHappy Opening Day everyone. We do have snow in the area. Reports are about 10 inches.
