GRAND MARAIS UPDATE – 3/26 From Phil-I also ran some of our South run this afternoon. Trail 443 to the trail 88 Tee, (approximately 12 miles of 443 ) then trail 88 to Hwy M77 the pickerel lake parking lot. Two groomers out this morning, grooming east and west. South groomed yesterday. GRAND MARAIS UPDATE – 3/25 From Chad-South is pretty good. Didn’t get all the big holes filled. So Trail 443 along airport Rd and McCloud grade Roads are decent. But that 6 mile section from McCloud Rd to trail 88 has nasty hard moguls at almost every inside corner. There’s plenty of snow, I only seen 2 bare spots. Again with this cold weather, expect hard rough trail condition. It’s still nice out there.

11 degrees this morning under partly cloudy skies. I got about 2" of fresh snow on my deck from last night. Nothing new to report on the trails except the loggers are done out by Pine Stump now, we`ll whip that in shape today and all will be good in sno-mo country! Our entire system will be groomed today, all trails are in GREAT SHAPE!!!!
My biggest question is....where is everybody? Its been slow all season U.P. here.....even on the weekends. Ya`ll are missing out. COME ON U.P.!!!!! Quick report as I`m heading out the door to go grooming.

Workin her pretty hard to get what you want, but we are.
She likes 7MPH tonight, should give an indication why we're Not much into stopping for oncoming traffic.

Minus 5 degrees this morning under a cloudy sky. No new snow in the last 24 hrs. but we do have about 3 feet of snow on the ground so no worries...LOL. Here`s whats been happening since my last report a couple days ago......
No bad news...the machines have been running beautifully....Mother Nature has been cooperating perfectly....and our trails are EXCELLENT!!!!
The Falls trail #45, the Point trails #452 & #453 and the South trail #8 all fall into that catagory. The only blip on the radar is on the Pine Stump trails #8 & #9 but it is only minor. Our section of trail #9 is still being plowed down from the Stump to the East branch of the Two Heart by the loggers. It is no big deal, just take trail #8 around instead of #9, just like the old days. Its a touch longer but you`re out there to enjoy the ride.....right? On the bright side, they are done up by Crisp Point but it will take us a couple trips to get that back in great shape.
Where is everybody?? Its been awful slow around here. COME ON U.P., You are missing out!!
