HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 3/12 We had two groomers our last night & the majority of everything was groomed except the railroad grade from Pellston to Mackinaw. The trails are super icy (you can see where the tractor couldn’t make it up one of the hills in 4WD on the first attempt), we need more snow! If you are riding today please use caution on hills & corners! Our end of the year party is at the Harbor Barn today at 2pm we will have food, corn hole & a fire! Accumulation will remain light (less than 1 inch). By the weekend, a system will pass to our south Saturday and bring a round of rain/ snow to the region. As ridging builds in behind, temperatures should be warmer for Sunday, but another system is expected to move in for Sunday night into Monday.
