KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports – 3/6 Love seeing SO many of you out there making the best of this ice storm we received. Grooming operations were suspended (for 12-24 hours) but the machines that were out on morning shifts finished their runs and we are hearing nothing but good reports! James Pidgeon shared these photos and said “A little freezing rain hurts nobody right?! We rode Calumet to Greenland and back!” Forecasts are now changing to a decent amount of snow to start falling at about 8pm tonight and continue through tomorrow! Trail109 was a little moguled up last night from the weekend traffic, so I cut her deep. Hopefully it'll hold up until I can hit it again Tuesday. I woke up to another 4 inches this morning and itsxstill snowing.
