KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports – 3/5 Welcome to spring riding conditions….. the good, the bad and the ugly. What a difference a day makes! Yesterday was an absolutely beautiful day to be riding Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula! Tge Keweenaw Snowmobike Club trails were in amazing condition and we enjoyed an excellent lunch at The Mariner North! Today is a much different scenario. We are experiencing freezing rain and it is making riding conditions awful to be honest! Not a day to be out riding….. pretty much impossible to even keep your goggles/shield clear. Grooming operations have been suspended for the next 12-24 hours. Trail109 was a little moguled up last night from the weekend traffic, so I cut her deep. Hopefully it'll hold up until I can hit it again Tuesday. I woke up to another 4 inches this morning and itsxstill snowing.
