TRAIL REPORT February 28, 2022 STILL GOOD RIDING CONDITIONS! No significant changes. Trails are in an overall good condition with a dusting of new snow. Operators were reporting good results with our trails primarily in very good condition east of M94, to the West of that good condition. Trails are expected to get choppy throughout the day. Operators are doing what they can with the tools at hand as we are still waiting for the return of our Big John Deere. Get out and Enjoy the Trails, Ride to the Right and Stay Tuned for updates! Trails have been getting rough later in the day, and we will continue to see this trend until traffic numbers decrease. Light snow will accompany the front but generally less than an inch is expected. Behind the front temperatures will fall into the single digits above and below zero. This combined with gusty winds will bring wind chills down into the teens and twenties below zero. A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for Gogebic and Iron counties tonight through Saturday morning. Lake effect snow will develop behind the front in the northwest wind snowbelts with several inches expected.
