HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 2/18 Trail Update: <> <> WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Early morning rain and snow showers will exit, with dry weather from early afternoon on. Mainly dry conditions are expected tonight and Monday, though we will be a little cooler on Monday. There is a chance for snow showers late Monday night into Tuesday morning (especially in the eastern UP), and again on Wednesday. HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club >> Last night we groomed the railroad grade from Alanson to Mackinaw along with the trail behind the airport. The run started off with it snowing & then it turned into freezing rain & then into a down pour as he got north of Carp Lake. We were able to cut a lot of the bumps out but with the rain & warm temps it won’t take long for them to appear again. <> Latest Trail Reports – Quick Links <>
Bottom Line is we need more snow. The railroad grade has minimal snow and is all gravel in some areas. All other trails are pretty flat but are super hard and icy with some sections down to dirt. We are supposed to get 3-6” tonight so let’s hope that happens. Ride safe and slow down into the corners!Postings From Regional Pages On Facebook
