KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports…. That is the deepest 1-3" of snow forecasted that I have seen in a while! Conditions only continue to to improve in the Keweenaw. Every year we get a warm up for a few days. Mid 30's and low 40's will definitely make it a little sloppy and most likely moguled up by Sunday. My guess is that we will pause grooming during this time and it's going to get rough. By Wednesday night into Thursday the temps will drop and we can possibly resume grooming but it'll take a couple day's to fix the mess.
Keep in mind I ride in 40°-50° days most of April and the trails hold up pretty good.

Every year we get a warm up for a few days. Mid 30's and low 40's will definitely make it a little sloppy and most likely moguled up by Sunday. My guess is that we will pause grooming during this time and it's going to get rough. With lake Superior froze over 50% that will effect our lake effect snow falls. This is probably why we are going into a dry spell.
