How does the old saying go??? One step forward, two steps back… We were off to a great start then the three-day warm up hit. We have lost all our snow and the trails are not rideable at this time. To add insult to injury, we have been experiencing wind gust of 50+mph and have numerous trees down. Some club members will be out on the trails this weekend to assess/clean up any trees that may be down on the trails. At this time, we have no measurable snow in the forecast for the next 10 days. Let hope that this doesn’t hold true. Until then, keep doing those snow dances!Postings From Regional Pages On Facebook
Groomer Randy was stopped by a group of sleds today and was given a tasty treat of cookies today! Thanks to that group for the nice gesture! Randy reported great conditions while doing the east route. Groomer Jeff did the north route and reported great conditions also.
Unfortunately, we need to report that we are forecasted for a warm up. Starting Saturday and running for at least 6 days with temps in the low to mid 40's. Fingers crossed that we don't loose everything. #traversecity #snowphotos
