Just a couple weeks ago it was lake effect snow every single day. Today, a light band of 1-3" near Munising is all we will need to write home about. We even tossed in some humor for those not in a designated snowfall zone. A couple slick spots will pop up along M-28 near Munising, and perhaps around Petoskey if a longer lake effect band happens to form, but this is more unlikely than likely. Overall the trails are in good shape but we really need some fresh snow. Warmer temperatures are on the way for this weekend which will really take a toll on the conditions & the ability to groom. Josh groomed 76 to 765 then to trail 7 the railroad grade. From there he went to Weber Lake on 765 and 76. Then groomed 76 back to Chandler Hill Road. #petoskey #snowphotos
