MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County Sorva – 12/17 TRAIL REPORT – Friday December 17, 2021 7:30am SERIOUS WARM WEATHER HIT TO THE TRAILS! Warm weather impact from two days ago was nothing compared to the past 48 hours. Very high southerly winds took the snow quickly and downed some trees so ride with caution until trails are cleared – again. These pics/video were taken 5 minutes ago. This is Trail 8 where it comes into Melstrand and the adjacent fields. There is a 12-18” base with 2-3” new snow (and it’s still snowing).
