Light snow will accompany the front but generally less than an inch is expected. Behind the front temperatures will fall into the single digits above and below zero. This combined with gusty winds will bring wind chills down into the teens and twenties below zero. A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for Gogebic and Iron counties tonight through Saturday morning. Lake effect snow will develop behind the front in the northwest wind snowbelts with several inches expected. An inch or so of new snow with Operators reporting good grooming results but the tired snow will not set. Overall Good to Very Good trails are staying fairly flat through the day with some icy corners developing. Ride with caution. Trail 8 from Shingleton to Trail 7 South is the highest used section of trail with snow sugary along that stretch. Forecasting has a few days in the upper 30’s so lets hope the little amount of snow this year holds on. We really need more new snow to improve conditions so get the snow dances going again. Please respect residential property owners and STAY ON THE TRAIL, No Snowmobile Signs mean just that. Please DO NOT run the Powerlines off of Trail 419.Postings From Regional Pages On Facebook
