SAULT STE. MARIE UPDATE via Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association – 02/21
Sugar Island Chris was out again over night on the Bay Mills courtesy trail, trail 8, 889, and part of 480. Despite the lack of any recent big snow, this section is in excellent shape! Thank you Chris! Sunday is one of the best days to ride around here. Ride safe and enjoy!❄️❄️❄️

Groomer Pete is out pulling double duty on the city trails and trail 49 down to Kinross and back. Although we could really use snow, all of our groomers are doing an incredible job keeping our trails in shape! Corners are getting thin and there are patches where dirt is showing on trail 49 but they are still overall in very good condition. Your Sunday morning ride down 49 should be nice and smooth!

SAULT STE. MARIE AREA UPDATE via Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association >> 1/27/26 Things are so good around here that I actually have no significant updates to share LOL. A little snow here and there on top of an absolutely incredible base is making for the best riding in our area in years, honestly. Even with one machine still down, our operators have things in excellent shape! We hope you’ll be able to be here next week for race week, and for the big race on Saturday, Feb 7th! We will have a booth in the brand new vendor pavilion, and we hope to see you there at the International 500 Snowmobile Race!! 🏁 ❄️🥶 #soo#soo0127 #snowphotos... See MoreSee Less
