IRONWOOD / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via Gogebic Range Trail Authority – ORV & Snowmobile Club – 02/17 We will have limited grooming tonight as most groomer operators took a break to ride together today. Last night Ryan groomed up Trail 2 between Bessemer and Wakefield through the ski hills. He found some new tree scars…please slow down…trails get icy as the day goes on. We will be out tomorrow and all tomorrow night grooming everything back up. Trails are in good to very good condition. Temperatures look to warm Sunday and early next week, so if you are planning to be riding then know the warmer it gets the faster the trails get bumpy. But our grooming frequency rises to meet those conditions just the same! Come ride! Blizzard Warnings have moved South to include Leelanau, Emmet, Cheboygan, Southeastn Chippewa, Mackinac Island/Bois Blanc, Beaver Island. Ice Storm Warnings have moved South to include Wexford, Missaukee, Oscoda, Alcona and Alpena Counties. Winter Weather Advisories now include Clare, Osceola Counties.
The warm line is farther South keeping higher totals North. Winds continue to pick up along with the snow tonight.
