MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County SORVA – 02/15
TRAIL REPORT – Monday, 02/15/2021 GREAT RIDING CONDITIONS! We received a dusting of fresh snow over the last 24 hours. Operators reported excellent grooming conditions which should make for some great trail riding.
Trails are in overall Very Good Riding conditions across our trail system. We are finding a light chop building in the trails prior to grooming. Trail 419 was not groomed last night as our JD 7130 sprung a coolant leak that needs to be repaired today. Hopefully grooming of Trail 419 resumes tonight. Please respect residential property owners and STAY ON THE TRAIL, No Snowmobile Signs mean just that. Please DO NOT run the Powerlines off of Trail 419. Our Team of volunteer Groomer Operators will continue to do their best to keep trails flat so; Get out and ENJOY the Trails Ride Safe and Stay Tuned for updates!
MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails – 02/14
A little fresh snow and continued cold Temps means flat and smooth trails for riders on Sunday. There are a few areas still lacking enough snow to fill the big holes, but overall the trail is looking good. Not everyone had a good day on Saturday, we saw a burnt sled near Sundell and not just burnt a little either.
