Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 02/07
It’s a very cold and crunchy sunday morning here in downtown Frederic. No new snow overnight so that forcast of lake effect everyday for a week starting on this past friday has not panned out so well yet. It was a busy day around frederic on saturday with sleds buzzing around. Of course we still could use more snow but riders were having a good time. I finally talked to one group that rode up to the bridge and thats the first one I have heard of this season.
I dont remember if I posted it or not but the Mackinaw Bridge is not offering their shuttle service for sleds across the bridge this season.
Pics below are from yesterday and I got my first prime rib of this sled season from the Frederic Inn. I got it to go and also got to wear my snowmobile man bib as I tried to eat it. I could only eat about half so guess what is for lunch today.
