Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 01/18
I have a dream……its MLK day and I have a dream that maybe we will get snow sometime this winter……
Weather is calling for a little lake effect each day this week, nothing came down last night and that may add up to a little fluff all week and then a predicted system snow next sunday…….I remember a few years ago when we never really got good rideable snow till Jan 28 and thats what its looking like again this year. There was an Indiana crew in here this morning and they said they had some decent riding down by houghton lake this past weekend except for the jeeps and side bys they ran into on the trail.
I had a call last night from Minnesota asking how the snow was here as they did not have good conditions there either. So lets hang on to what weve got and just be ready for when and if it does come down. pic below is the only group that stopped by here on sunday. Thanks for checking in. Pete
