Harbor Springs Trail Report – 01/15
HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 01/15 Our trails are in bad shape, it’s rained almost all day today and has been in the high 30’s. As of yesterday morning, the trails were holding up fairly well despite the warm weather throughout the week. The grade in front of the airport was beginning to show some bare spots, along with sections of the Alanson trail where the logging operation took place.
Rain started early yesterday afternoon and is expected to continue for a few more hours, which unfortunately won’t help trail conditions. Once the rain stops, we will try to get out this afternoon to check conditions and provide another update.
We do have some snow in the forecast next week but it’s not looking like it’ll be enough to get the groomers back out. #harborsprings #petoskey❄️ Trail Update ❄️
