KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports – 01/11 Please note: Update from Glenn Rowe – Keweenaw Snowmobile Club Trails – “As of today the Keweenaw Snowmobile Club has suspended grooming due to low and snerty conditions, along with rain today, we have gone into full conserve mode. We are very sorry for this, but we can’t afford to totally destroy our trails. We will resume as soon as we get snow.” Michigan Snowmobile Trail Report Saturday January 16th, 2021 - 12:55 pm WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan - Snow will transition to light lake effect snow showers today near Lake Superior and diminish to a few lake effect snow showers on Sunday. Martin Luther King Day will be mostly cloudy with some more light snow showers developing as the next system approaches from west-to-east during the afternoon. Dean thought trails were in fair condition but rideable only due to the lack of snow.
He said 134 back to Mohawk was a better ride.
It’s obvious from photos the area is in need of snow, but it is also nice to see others are making the best they can out of their trips!

They said, Trail 3 from Mass City to South Range was good to fair. It got ugly when we got North of South Range. There are some bare corners coming out of Mass City. We enjoyed a great lunch at Omar’s. Do your snow dances!
