Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 01/11
Wind is picking up here in Frederic with a stiff south breeze but it feels nice and cold., Still not a speck of new snow. I figured yesterdays post would get people riled up and it did with all the comments and after you read this it will really blister your feathers. I had a pretty lengthy conversation this morning with Karen from the former Michigan Snowmobile Association and now known as MISORVA (Michigan Snowmobile and ORV Association). She said things changed back in 2016 with the passing of public act 288. Here is a link to it. Public Act 288 of 2016 I still haven’t read all of it yet but will yet this afternoon. Doesn’t seem like a very good deal for sledders to me. I will leave it at that for right now. Thanks for checking in. Temperatures also climb above freezing through the overnight, remaining there until Thursday evening. The bad news is that gusty winds return late tonight into Thursday.
