HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 01/10 Trail Update: Bottom line, we need some major snow! The trails have minimal snow and are pretty icy. If you are out riding please be cautious of washouts & rocks as there just isn’t enough snow to cover them. Most of our gates are still closed and will not be opened until we get some substantial snowfall. We are sitting right around 13” in Stutsmanville, a 3” loss since Monday night. We are currently riding the winter rollercoaster, there is rain on the way for Thursday night into Friday morning and then a potential snow storm for Saturday.
We are hoping the temps will be cold enough so we can get out and groom Friday night.
