HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 01/10 Trail Update: Bottom line, we need some major snow! The trails have minimal snow and are pretty icy. If you are out riding please be cautious of washouts & rocks as there just isn’t enough snow to cover them. Most of our gates are still closed and will not be opened until we get some substantial snowfall. This time last year, we weren’t even sure that we would have a season after the historic ice storm that destroyed much of our trail system.
Fast forward to now… we just wrapped up a RECORD season! For the first time in years, we were able to groom pretty consistently from the very first weekend all the way to the end. What an incredible turnaround.
A HUGE thank you to our Groomer Operators: Bryan, Dale, Chance, Cody, Evan, Jim, Nick, & Thomas — you guys absolutely crushed it this year! 👏

There’s still snow to get out and ride on state trails, but all gates on our private property sections are now closed.
