Michigan Snowmobile Trail Report

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan - Lake effect snow is expected for the favored northwest wind snow-belts tonight into Friday night. The highest accumulations are expected over the east half of the U.P. downwind of Lake Superior in the snow-belts. Winter weather advisories are in effect for the east half of the U.P. along Lake Superior. Patchy blowing snow is also possible in open areas. Remember to utilize your low beam headlights while driving in snow conditions. SENEY AREA UPDATE via Seney Snowmobile Association - Trail 431 and 440 were groomed last night. Trail 431 is good after the Bra tree. It’s in fair condition up to the Bra tree. 440 is icy just off M-77 for the first mile. After that it’s in good shape. Trails are finally starting to shape up. SENEY AREA UPDATE via Seney Snowmobile Association - Finally some snow! We groomed 43, 440 and Petrol lane to Melstrand last night. The lower part of 43 south of Fox river rd is still in poor shape. North of Fox river rd is in good shape. Still have some icy corners and is thin in a few areas. 440 is in good shape. Petrol Lane has a water spot by the pond half way through the trail so be careful. We will be going back out tonight to do 431 and will report back... #Seney #snowphotos ... See MoreSee Less
