Hit Trail #12 from White Pine to Greenland. I would rate it "very good" with the exception being the the 2 miles running the farm fields along HWY 38. We finished our ride yesterday on Trail 137 to Trail 13 to 101 to 12 back to White Pine. The snow had turned to mashed potatoes but trails for the most part were smooth and holding up well.
There are bare spots, standing water, running water, deteriorating snow bridges, and any roadside trail is bare, pretty typical late season riding.
Friday should still be a good day for riding.
Due to high temps we have halted all grooming operations.
Will go back out Sunday to assess the damage Ma Nature is causing.

Art just rode 142 miles across the Ontonagon trail system and called it “the best March riding he’s seen in 20 years.” ❄️🔥
The trails are in incredible shape, and this late-season snow has everything dialed in—smooth, fast, and just plain fun. If you’ve been waiting for the right time to ride… this is it.
