Trail 2 from Hurley to Ramsay US 2 Crossing is in poor to fair condition it was last groomed on 1/2/2021 Trail 2 from Ramsay to Wakefield is poor it was last groomed 1/2/2021 Trail 2 from Wakefield to Marensico is poor to fair last groomed 1/3/2021 Trail 8 from Wakefield to Tula Crossing is poor to fair last groomed 12/26/2020 Trail 160 from Walmart to Montreal River (WI) is poor to fair last groomed 12/28/2020 Trail 11S last groomed 1/2/2021 Please yield to any and all logging traffic, they have the right of way. Please stay on marked trails!!!! Gogebic Area Groomers Report 12/29/2020 Groomers have been out. Trail 8 East from Bergland to Ewen has been groomed, Trail 13 North towards Rockland and 13 South has been groomed. Trail 1 from Bergland to White Pine is groomed and 102N and 1 South are being groomed now. There are many wet spots starting to show, but freezing up with the cold temps. Winter is absolutely delivering right now. We’re over 160” for the season total so far.
We’ve measured 24 inches of fresh snow in just the last week and a half right on our deck, and conditions across the Porcupine Mountains and Ontonagon area are shaping up to be the best snowmobiling and skiing we’ve seen in many years.
Snowmobile trails are well-covered with a solid base, riding smooth and fast thanks to consistent cold temps. Off-trail snow is deep, fluffy, and exactly what you hope for up here. For skiers — both downhill and Nordic — coverage is excellent, with beautiful natural snow and classic Lake Superior powder conditions.

Snow was laying down perfectly tonight and the trail's are in excellent shape!! 102 is the best it's been so far this season. Early bird's get out there and enjoy!
8w still has some chop to it but overall turned out decent.
Generally speaking February is prime time for trail riding here in the yoop. Lesser traffic, temp's have been perfect and we've been basically getting light snow daily.
Trail's covered tonight, 102, 13s, 1n and 8w.

Such a busy week it's been. From keeping up with trail's and making sure both machine's are on the trail! We've had our hands full.
Temp's on Saturday got into the upper 20's and heavy traffic really took a toll throughout our system. We've been able to get everything back in shape, but some will take a couple passes to get back to Great Again!!

Will we make it to March 31st this season? It looks promising..

There are logging operations happening about two miles west of Kenton, use caution.
We are grooming our regular schedule, every day.
The trails are great.
Please ride on the RIGHT side of the trail and STOP at the stop signs!
Stay on the trail, if you don’t we could lose trail permissions on private property.
Groomers have the right of way on the trails, pull over and stop to let them safely pass!
We have Groomer Tracker installed in our groomers.
We groom every day that the weather conditions and equipment allow. Unforeseen circumstances may prevent us from going out, like a major blizzard and being snowed in at our homes or equipment breakdowns. #westernup
