GRAND MARAIS UPDATE via Grand Marais Sno-Trails Assoc. – 12/28 From groomer Ted who has been out on the east trail all day – Head East for fluff n boondocking ! Very good SNOW 8+” So many questions…😂 Ted is out doing his thing on the east trail today. The other 3 were hit yesterday. Weather gurus are calling for up to 8 inches tonight and system snow moving in for Wednesday. Can you ride? Yes but just take it easy. We need more snow before they’re up to Sno Trails standards and before we send the groomers out again. Sorry folks. How much snow? Anywhere from 6-10 inches depending where you are

There will be snow, lots of it more than likely, on our trail system. There may be some rough or bumpy spots, however weather permitting we will groom. As it sits right now, the weather forecast looks like we can groom this afternoon and overnight. Tomorrow is questionable. Thursday Friday and Saturday all are forecasted to be cold so I have every intention on sending groomers out on schedule. Remember, this is Michigan and the weather can change by the time I finish this and get it posted!
In closing I will say this. Come on up and plan to ride. The crazy 8's will be here. There will be snow. There may be some "snirt" especially coming into town. There may be some rough spots. There WILL be the pleasure you get from getting away one final time this season!! Ride right, ride safe.
