Warmer weather is in store for midweek with highs in the 20s and even into the low 30s in the far west. Two round of light snow is expected on Thursday into Friday morning. Reinforcements from Pennsylvania have arrived also! We are hitting it hard for this weekend with a short preventative maintenance window planned for the machine on Saturday. Temps are warming up during the day, making the trail soft and letting moguls form, but temps will drop again for the weekend! That means better trails for Saturday. Looks warm for the start of next week with temps near 30 by Tuesday. Get out and ride while the riding is good! LAKE EFFECT SNOW OFF TO A SLOW START
We did get 2 to 5 inches of snowfall over the past 24 hours, more so to the Northeast corner of our trail system. We are seeing some die hard riders out on the trails but conditions are unfavorable, visibly seen kicking up the gravel and dirt in areas. Conditions will be assessed in the morning to determine if some daytime trail prep will be productive in the few harder hit areas of snow. It is still in a waiting game so stay tuned as we keep you up to date with the trail and grooming status.
